We are proud to serve our communities, supporting local initiatives by combining financial backing with employee "sweat equity," ensuring a meaningful impact. Below are some of our key efforts:
Family Sponsorship for the Holidays
Teams sponsored four families for Christmas, fulfilling wish lists and donating $1,000 in "Turkey" certificates to local shelters for Thanksgiving.
Fighting Food Insecurity
We operated five Mobile Food Pantries, reaching 10,000 people and collecting 2,500 lbs. of food for the Salvation Army, thanks to a $10,000 donation from the IDEX Foundation.
Health and Wellness Support
Forty employees participated in Rake A Difference, serving 336 seniors, while others supported Toys for Tots, Eden Springs Preservation, and the Juneteenth Parade.

Building stronger communities together
Our volunteer efforts have fostered a shared passion, trust, and camaraderie among employees while making a meaningful difference in our community. By aligning opportunities with employees’ diverse passions—whether for animals, children, or addressing food insecurity—we’ve cultivated deep engagement.
In 2024, our team served at Eden Springs Preservation, where volunteers brought joy as Santa and Mrs. Claus, and assisted New Heights CCDA by packaging food for those in need. We also supported the Children’s Advocacy Center through landscaping, photography, and event assistance. We also replaced boardwalk and removed invasive species to ensure visitor safety and maintain ecological balance at Sarett Nature Center.
These efforts have strengthened relationships within our team, built lasting goodwill, and made an impact in the communities we serve.

We connect beyond titles, engaging in activities like painting for the homeless and raking leaves for seniors, fostering joy and gratitude. Our Core Volunteer Team, comprising members from various departments, leads these initiatives. Each employee enjoys 8 hours of paid volunteer time annually.
Mobile Food Pantries
We are staffing six pantries for Feeding America West Michigan.
Blood Drives
We are hosting four drives with 25 to 30 donors, impacting 300 lives.
Rake A Difference
We are proud to continue our 40-year partnership with United Way of Southwest Michigan to support seniors.
